An Amazing Ride in Our Great Southern Land

On the weekend prior to the 2018 Tour of Margaret River, we celebrate the wild beauty of our great southern land with a very special adventure: The Amazing Albany Bike Ride.

The Amazing Albany Bike Ride – Sunday November 4th

Based on the Amazing Albany Frenchman Bay locals favourite ride, The Amazing Albany Bike Ride (TAABR) features what is arguably the most spectacular scenic road ride in the state. Setting out from the ANZAC Peace Park on the edge of the beautiful Princess Royal Harbour, riders will climb to the National ANZAC Centre and majestic Mount Clarence with its stunning views of King George Sound. After the descent, the ride will then proceed around Princess Royal Drive and swing riders around Frenchman Bay with out and back legs taking them to stunning scenic attractions such as Salmon Holes, The Gap, Stony Hill and the Albany Wind Farm.

Cyclists of all types, ages, backgrounds and skill levels are encouraged to ride. E-bikes are welcome and encouraged, and will be promoted as a great way for cycling enthusiasts to maintain their contact with ride groups.
