This year The Tour heads back to its original home of Cowaramup for Stage 1 and already the locals are hard at work on all the small things that make an event special. Pictured are the bases for the 2016 Group Trophies that are currently being made at the Cowaramup Men’s Shed by local craftsmen Peter Clews. The selected wood is Marri and its trademark gum veins combined with hand carving will ensure that each trophy is a unique work of art. In the immortal words of Darryl Kerrigan “That’s going straight to the pool room”
